Hi I have a question for all the people building this Endeavour.
I just received Issue 4 with bulkheads E and F.
It looks like the shape of E is not correct on the rounding of the bilges. The rounding is not in line with bulkheads D and F and looks like it will create a hollow in the hull i.e give the hull a peanut husk shape.
Did any of you have this problem?
Regards
Deon

Hi there,
The bulkheads you are asking about are not a problem. There are a couple of low spots after the planking is done but they can be filled with filler before the second layer of planks are put on. There is a worse dip near the stern. I am just doing the second layer of planks at the moment and its coming up good. Cheers, Steve

Had a look at my build and I couldn't see much a hollow once the planking was all done, didn't even know there was one near the stern.

Hi all
Thanx for the info, I think I will just have to do a good job of fairing the hull before planking, will build up the bulkheads with some of the planking strips to a good fair line as needed and sand to shape
