hi im new to building models so i thought i try step by step approach...anyways can someone help me into how to plank the outside of hull and keeping the planks in place while the glue dries...what glue is anyone using etc....thanks for any ideas in advance...

Hello and welcome to the group. I used Pva with a drop of super glue as well. I used the nails they supplied to hold the planks in place. You could also try some small pins to hold the plank in place until the glue is dry.

thanks for your reply...did you use the nails to hold in place for the finished layer of the planking...i thought maybe the holes would be left visible if nails or pins were used

I only used the nails for the first layer, the pva, along with a bit of super glue was all I needed for the bit of 2nd layer hull planking I have done. Been working on my model railway for now, so no room for the Endeavour. Thats coming to an end though, so should be able to get back into it.

Superglue when used with pva, still holds well, you just get a bit longer before it sets.
