I already began this model a 'few' years ago, I've got the frame of the hull built and one 1/2 of the 'main' decking is completed,so I thought, after this wee 'life boat' I might try something else, and as the 'shell of the Cutty Sark' was handy, I thought..."Hmmmmmm".."why not???" So,I've been 'up my loft' seeking out the rest of it (that's where I put 'the box') I found it, very very dusty and slightly warped, but otherwise it's contents appear to be fine minus the plastic containers of ship parts. I removed these before storing the box up in the loft (for some reason??) and for 'years' they were once safe in a corner of my of my garage, but since my layout 'went up',I've put them somewhere else for 'safe keeping' and I can't remember for the life of me where I've put them!!!, so a serious search is on the cards, it's very important that I find them, otherwise?..... forget building 'Cutty Sark!!! There were also two more ships 'up there',(in the loft) the 'Revell' QM2 (started) and the 'Titanic' (started), just as well I brought them down because the instuction booklets (X2), photographic/written plus full size plans for the rigging/decking/and fixtures, all were in the QM2 box!! 'Studying' work done on this model so far, I'm not happy with my decking, there seems to be something quite different between the 'real' ships decking and the plan for the model,so I think I needs to do a bit of study then fix it one way or 'tuther' before I start the 'serious task' of planking the hull (single planked, but they are about 2-3 mm thick)....so, watch this space for further development ....Dave
