Black inside is the first job to block light from getting out then a off white a clear blue for some of the windows and other parts and a dark metallic grey for the base.

Progress so far some parts glued together. Base made and sprayed. Some black paint applied but ran out and plus the stuff stinks so will be swapping to another brand as is smells 100% less. Attachments:

I hate the smell that comes from plastic glue and can't stand it for all that long.

Done some more the saucer section is now 1 part with black inside and white outside and all the clear blue and clear parts glued in place and top and bottom fitted together. Just need to fit the decals and get some fine paint bushes to finish the section off

Strar Trekkin' a song by the 'Firm' in 1987, so it's actually one year older than you Andy,so, it is before 'your time!!'
It actually got to number one in the UK charts that same year...'U Tube' it Andy and have a listen, it's quite upbeat and it's funny......Dave
