I reckon the coffee would taste like 'keigh' Anthony, but this monster pot is not one of my personal favourites of 'GWR locos',the smaller 'prairies' "yes" I did like (this looks like a giant one of those with the mumps!!))so, I will give the heave ho to this monster..... I'm sorry to say..Dave

That's a strange one Anthony, the tender wheels are only 'pick ups', metal axles running in plastic holes, how can it seize?,...perhaps the wheel has gone out of gauge and is stuck, otherwise i've got no idea. I'd separate the loco from the tender first up,if it's your new one, it's 'semi permanently connected' to the loco,so it should have the wee square connector in the tender (with the pins in it),you gently prize it off with a screw driver. I'm only familiar with my locos and access to their motors, I'd first try and get 'direct power' to the motor and see if it works, if it does, well, the fault must lie in the tender.... If all fails contact Hornby,or simply send it back to their UK address for replacement!!...Dave

It's still not a very nice looking loco Anthony, personally, it's an ugly mother, but you're the man, you're going to get it,you therefor like it and that's what counts, my opinionin in your opinion is therefor null and void... One thing though,I definately admire the team that brought this loco from the scrap yard to what it is today, irrespective of how ugly it is, "viva la restoration movement!!!"...Dave
