I'm starting to lose faith in Rails actually and might start going to Hattons.

Beginning to think, I will never get this one. Not paid anything yet, so not too bad.

Rails haven't sent a thing to say when it might come. Hoping now it will wait until after my holiday.

I was talking to a guy who represents Bachmann, in Robbyco on Tuesday, and he said the run of them sold out and there was no plan for another run in the near future.
He had the right company badges and id's so I would assume he was legite, so you may have missed out on this run Anthony.......Phil

Really odd that Rails haven't said anything and are still showing Soon on the website for it. Also I did the order for it back in March 27th.

Just done a pre order of this from Hattons as I don't think Rails will ever deliver it, so may end up with two of them at some point, or none.

'LMS' Lanarkshire Model Supplies' of Blantyre Scotland have a rail cleaner. It's a brass kit consisting of a 'box' (NS) an insulated 'brass' roller and it comes with 10 pre-cut cleaning cloths. (it's available as a kit as I said for 23 95 UK pounds ,or it can be bought assembled for 6-7 squid extra) The whole 'kit' is made to fit an LMS brake van, but I'm sure I can adapt another vehicle as the 'donur'. Anyhoo, I've ordered one and it's on it's way, watch this space and I'll let you know if it does the job, I've read some reviews of it.... they're good!.....Dave

Kit arrived today, looks good, the 'box' section is N/Silver and the brass wheel is a solid lump of a thing and it's pretty heavy as well. Soldering is required to keep the 'box' section together, I can't foresee that as a problem. I have not found a donor wagon yet...I haven't looked!!....I'll keep you all posted re construction and fitting, and of course, the question, does it do the job???........Dave
