Welcome to what I hope will become a home for those model builders doing the 'Build your own N scale model railway' partworks magazine from De Agostini UK.
This site is no way linked to De Agostini Publications or Bachmann, (or anyone else supplying parts for the build), but without them this web forum and the model would not be possible.
The forum is not just for model railways, but for all types of models, including partworks. We cater for trains, ships, cars, bikes, architecture, card, matchstick, planes, boats, rockets, military, space and even Lego. Also art and craft & photography is welcome.

hey sky : are deagostini intending to do a model of the flying scotsman then? i know that hachette have been doing it for sometime. wonder if it will come down here. enjoy your holiday in britain. check out the tower of london

Oooops that should be the 'Build your own N scale model railway', what comes of doing it when very tired, which is almost all the time these days. Trip to the UK will be in 2011, (I hope). Fully intend to goto the Tower of London again, went too it in 1977.  |

are they actually going to revive this project sky? will we see it out here? Have a personal interest in tower of london, in fact my great grandfather , sir hugh henry gough vc wa a keeper of the crown jewels in the tower of london during the latter part of the 19th centuary

Hopefully it will be revived and it will come out here, keep a lookout for things happening near christmas, have a feeling if they are going to revive it, that will be when they do it. The sun moon and earth orbiter should come out here as it already has the Aussie prices on the magazine, I'm getting it already from a good mate in Ireland on the UK Bismarck site. jcmanu |

Hi Sky: just finished trumpeter wellington will send photo to martin when he gets better, wonder when build lancaster bobmer will start out here? usually around feb or march isnt it? going to start a 25 in model wellington tomorrw with match sticks. when i bought the wellington , i asked about price for new mossie kit , you would be looking at around $2-300
Will look forwardf to the lacaster project.

Will be an interesting build with match sticks, I'll look forward to seeing it.
It can be 6 to 12 months after something starts in the UK till we see it out here, but I'll keep my eyes open for it, like I do for all new partworks.

We are currently using 96MB of our free 200MB storage space. If we run out of space, (won't happen for awhile) and need more, then I will have to start paying and that means you lot start paying and I have the feeling you would like to keep the forum free to use. We are up to 110MB of our alloted 200MB storage space. Things are ok for now, but if we run out the largest files may be deleted, or I could pay for it to be increased, but I think you would rather keep the forum free to use. |

Moved the 'Recent Threads' and 'Recent Posts' links on users profile up to the top right corner of the profile and changed to buttons with the users display name added.

Tried the, 'Dynamically Tabbed Table' plugin and it did not seem to work as intended, which is a pity as I think it could have been very useful.
