OK,they finally got back to me Phil,'send it back 'Return of post', once we receive it, i'll get my refund!!The Class 25 came yesterday as well, so I've had a good week. I think I should go and see if any of these locos actually run..that's 3 to test!!....Off work today,(RDO) so I'd better go and post this loco back to Rails of S...........Dave

Yip, all 3 locos are working fine, I love the 'lion', the white is just so 'way out man' but it still begs for a wee bit of 'light weathering' just to highlight some detail, it gets lost in the 'white', especially on the bogies..........Dave

Only a matter of time before I was tempted by another, on Ebay this time, (Aust) and a rare bargain was found, well, I think it is!!....Brand New Backmann S&D 7F 2-8-0, 31-012 '53810', weathered, rec price 150 (almost) 'BR' pounds sterling..(228 Aust) The seller had it reduced from 170 Aust, still a favourable 'exchange rate' with the likes of Hattons (109 quid) or Rails,(114 quid) but it was 'buy it now' for just under 150 and with 10 bucks registered post, I think she's a good buy, after I read the review in the February Railway Modeller,I wanted one..Dave

Is that the new British 'Freightliner' class 70 Phil???. It is indeed different, bordering on damn ugly, but it's got appeal, colour and individuality, no doubt about that my friend it will grow on you, (as you say) it's done that with me as I read about it in the various Brit mags that I have, very good model indeed, I'm sure it will give you great pleasure, it is after all..an American Beastie! I havn't got my loco as yet, it was posted last Wednesday according to the seller, (same day as purchase) but I failed to notice that it's coming from WA, so I'm thinking, one week?, that just finds the cart, it takes another week to find a fast horse, I should get it by the beginning of June, in other words, I'm not expecting it any time soon!! (boo hoo!!) This is another loco that does not conform to my 'region' Phil, I never spotted one, nor was I likely to, but it's a great looking loco and it will join the ranks of other 'non conformers' that I have...I'm happy, that's what counts...come on Mr Postie....."deliver"...prove me wrong!!!!...........Dave

Yes it is Dave.....I do like the big beastie.....fits right in....
I reckon you will have by weeks end, I got a few things from WA and they arrived quite quickly. I have a few loco's that don't fit the "region" as you say.....they're only passing through on their works shakedown, before being released to the owner.......that's my story anyway.......Phil
