I've moved the hull into the house, a few wee cracks in her, she definitely doesn't like the cold, can't blame her at all......Phil

Yesterday in the fine weather, before the storm arrived, I filled the cracks that appeared in the hull, caused by the cold last year, I'll give them a light sand this arvo and repair some of the other minor faults.
The paint shop is ready to receive her, I definitely want to get some paint on her before winter arrives, if this morning is anything to go by, it will be rather harsh here this year, but I won't get caught again, she lives in the house now......Phil

I've noticed that my painted superstructure parts have gone funny Phil, they seem to have weathered to a 'darker dirtier grey' that what I can remember painting them, and all these parts are in drawers!....weird??, but the effect looks OK, I reckon I be needing some clear 'satin' varnish to preserve them in this state?..Dave

Unusual, I would have expected that reaction from being in the sun, but if your happy go for it......I'll be spraying the varnish on mine.....Phil

I did a wee bit of sanding on her last night, and found a few areas for repair that weren't spotted earlier, not hard, won't hold up things too much......Phil

It's a bugger tis this work Phil, that is for sure! I had a wee kookma at mine, it's all looking pretty good,I was surprised by the detail,I have sort of forgot just how far that I had got with the build, but with stuff all over the place,it's going to be pretty difficult piecing it together!!..Dave
