Rails reminded me I had this on order, but the first batch sold out. I've re-ordered it,it's big and expensive, and to post it ...29 quid!!,All up it's a couple of quid short of a hundred!!!....Dave

Now this is a nice model, cover it with coal, weeds, birds and bird s... incorporated in a nice shed scene, with loco's everywhere.........many would cast an envious eye on it.
I've actually stood under this tower at Carnforth.........Phil

It's certainly a model and a half for sure, a shed scene is on the brain,a nice big huge gigantic shed, loos, sorry, locos everywhere!..just got to figure what shed I will be 'loosely' basing it on!! And are you not the lucky one Phil,I've never been to Carnforth, that's a good shed idea, incorporate a wee bit Kingmoor and Polmadie...Hmmm...Dave

The 'tower' arrived yesterda from Rails, the box was 2 foot square..."jings tae hang jossie!!" On opening that, heaps of buble wrap, then another box,on that box it is written.."due to the breakable contents of this prodect it is not recommended for mail order!!"...how many pieces then, now going hypo!! Inside that box is a big foam box and it's in here, looking good, got it out,it's in one(well several resin components all put together) piece, nothing is broken.....thank you god!! There's a big bag full of plastic parts for the wagon hoist, and in a wee cut out in the foam 'box' there's paper and something is wrapped in this, 6 wee 'huts' all the same, one door and a corner window on each, here is where the 100% lost a point,a corner window (all the windows are glazed by the by!)was missing from one of them!!...if that was it...bloody fantastic my friends that that was it, unbelievable for such a fragile structure having come 1/2 way accross the globe!! Anyway, I was so peased I had to inform Rails that the 'Tower' had arrived safe and sound and I laid the praise on the packing department, I also mentioned the 'window' and they were right back telling me a replacement 'shed' was on it's way..."cool"...Dave
P/S, anybody from the 'Post Office' spying on this...great job fellas!!!!

Re the above 'missing part' from the coaling tower.I wondered what the 'loco sized' box was in my letterbox yesterday, I thought it was my 'Baby Deltic',but here, the box was as light as a feather, obviously not a loco!!, it contained a replacement 'shed' for the one without the window.......that was so quick!!...Rails are on the ball!!...........Dave
