Thanks for the information Anthony, I did have a look at that page before Wikipedia knows all I remember seeing 009 gauge trains kits which used n-gauge chassis at Pecorama when I visited back in July. I’ve just used what I have left over from my n-gauge a set of points and 1 bit of flex track got my road painted on now and ordered some cable to get the power done and one set of points to finish off the main track work..

Looking good, I like the curved points leading round to the engine house. Narrow gauge line looks good as well.

Hi Dave, Yeah it is a metcalfe got it from hattons online £13 also just ordered the sand house and water tower, I saw the engine shed in a book a bought and though it look nice and though it looked like a metcalfe so looked on hattons and bought one. The building bottom right is also a metcalfe platform signal box which I've made in to a coal office which came free with a magazine I bought at x- mas Andy

Anthony,if you want 'Free' stuff, keep an eye on the 'Hornby' magazine, they are often coming up with railway stuff from 'Scalescenes'...Freeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee To date,I've never built one (yet),but I should have all these 'free' ones somewhere? At this moment I have the 'August 2010' issue in front of me and that has a 'longboat' for me to build. I like the concept of 'Scalescenes',buy one, say a house, then download as many of that particular house creating a whole street if you like...or maybe...... a ginor-mouse shed!!..(I know there is a wopper of a shed on their list, not for Free unfortunately.............Dave

I think Hornby magazine offered a single track engine shed back in October and November as I missed it. The one I got was from Metcalf which is made from strong card. I’ll take a photo of it when I get home. Mine I’m sure was from railway modeller.

Well got a bit more done, got most the engine yard done. A working signal via a pull string cord, hopefully controlled by DCC later on in the build. Some tunnel entrances done and side built up. Fitted a level crossing. I'l post some more pictures when I'm back on my PC.
