Good to see the slips with ships in progress on them instead of empty. The 'Devonport Naval Shipyards' will be busy for a long time yet and I feel they will be getting some more orders for ships in the future.

I was holding onto my 'free' ticket for that one Phil!!. I read the 'blah' on it,but I never believe these 'reviewers' until I've gone and seen it myself, then I form my own opinion..surely it's not THAT BAD Phil???.......Dave
P/S,I've still got to go and see it!!

By all means go see it, slow start lots of action, I put it in the "see it once" category so when it comes up in a conversation, I can relate to it, but go see it, then we'll compare notes......Phil

Just exactly what is the structure on the stern Phill??. Went and saw Battleship..loved it! The special effects are 'out of this world' action secquences 'wow' especially when the Alien 'wessel' fires up it's cannon things, and the 'USS JPJ getting ripped apart by those wheel things (A lawnmower on steroids!!) The 'Missouri' battleship being back in action takes the biscuilt though, 'cough' but it was all well done and very realistic...loved it,totally deafened by the sound of battle,me ears were ringin'...Dave

It's a viewing platform......I can't see any reason for it, just that it wasn't the only ship, or navy at the time to have them.
I'm glad you enjoyed it, I'm in for a second serve, my nephew wants to see it and nobody will take him, so maybe tomorrow night after work.....Phil

Sometimes things are a bit better a second time around Phil..I think the aft 'observation deck' was infact for the crew to fish from...when stopped...otherwise they'd get their tackle tangled!!!??..............Dave (harr)

This is the base of the midships superstructure, the hangar part went together well, but the upper part was a real bastard to put together, not 100% happy with it but it will be ok when complete.....Phil Attachments:
