Hi Anthony, sorry for the long absence. Taking a break from Dolls House building and decided to make a Scenic Model Railway. Bit pushed for time at the moment but will try to post some photos soon but don't know how to do it. Meanwhile you can see my progress here :- littlecandleford.weebly.com ....Kindest Regards Joe The Station Platform and Building The Station Road The Station

Looks great joseph and looks like the photos have come out fine. I am sure Lady Katherine will get used to the train.

Wow great looking train. Is this Ho/OO scale, or something else?

Hi Everyone, Anthony the railway is 00 gauge..... The Railway now has a Level Crossing and Crossing Keepers Hut. It is situated in the middle of the layout halfway between Candleford Station and Lark Rise Junction. The road crossing the line runs between 'The Bakery' and Floozies Dolls Houses .... Unfortunately due to lack of space the Model Railway has to share the large baseboard (table) with the dolls houses.

Looks great and I think you need to have a halt outside Floozies, so Katherine can unload materials direct from the train and in to her store.

Done a bit more work on the station. Have added a second platform, fencing, lamposts and a station building which is a model of Goathland Station ( Aidensfield Station in the TV Series Heartbeat)

The station looks great. What did you use for the fencing ??
Loved watching the tv series Heartbeat and was going to visit the line when I was in York back in 2016, only it started sleeting with the odd bit of snow coming down, so headed to the rail museum and watched them move the Flying Scotsman out of the workshop.

Hi Anthony, the fencing is Hornby. I cut it into smaller sections rather than bend it. It comes in quite long lengths so although it seems a little expensive, one packet goes a long way. Wont be working on the layout until after Christmas when I'll be adding a couple of more buildings to the Goods Yard plus some 1:76 vehicles then the next job will be the Farm Yard meanwhile here's the progress on the 3 farm fields.

Looking nice and neat. I need to get some more fencing on my layout sometime.
I have finally managed to get my model railway back on here, (after it was nuked by photobucket's ransom demands). Farm buildings I have are from a company called Faller.
