I’ve decided to build very small 00-gauge layout, a shunting yard 1.4 meters by 0.6 meters, to try and get in my head around DCC, before trying to implement it on to my N-gauge railway. So has anyone on here used a Bachmann E-Z Command Dynamis wireless controller? Looking at demos on Bachmann’s website it looks impressive. www.grahamfarish.co.uk/index.php www.dynamisdcc.co.uk/

Only DCC I've usd is the hornby one. Nice looking system, it would be good if you could use it with your N scale layout as well as the OO one.

Thinking about it, I could use it for both , say first 50 addresses for OO-gauge then next 50 for n-gauge, the only major change for the n-gauge railway, which most my current trains are non DCC, which means I need to keep the split inner track and outer track when running non DCC and just 1 circuit when running DCC

Think if you have a double pole - double throw switch you should be able to have the track come off the center 2 poles and have DCC one way and DC the other way with the switch. Then you just have to make sure you have it switched to what ever you want for power.

Always wondered how well the wireless dcc systems worked.

I haven’t been on here for ages either, I haven’t really done much to my n-gauge railway however started on a DCC 00 gauge bought a Tornado Britain’s newest steam train and a Dynamis kit and train set as one www.ehattons.com/StockDetail.aspx?SID=26443 works great love the lights, asked Santa for a 08 class with sound built in. Just need to buy a chip for my Tornado

Really need to get on with mine and get it changed over to digital. It will have to wait till after my trip to the UK, Ireland and Europe next year.
