The start of my model railway build diary. The layout is in OO/Ho scale. My layout is 4 feet wide by 9 feet long and is rural / small village at one end and industrial at the other, with the basic locomotive servicing area at the industrial end. The layout has been going, oh since the early 90's I think it was when I started. Almost all the buildings are by Faller with most having working lights. The main station is Bonn railway station, (I chose it because it looked nice and was about the right size). Old view. Looks a bit lonely. Quiet day on the farm. The way things are now.

New carriages New carriages New carriages Some more horses join the farm Black Swans. Text reads, "Stone Cottage". A master craftsman kit I have yet to attempt to build. I think I went on this type of train at some point in 2007, (Not that company though)

As not much has happend on the layout, I'll post some photos from the layouts history. On30 is O Gauge running on Ho Gauge track. The 30 is the track gauge for the fullsize train - 30". On30 Scale Shay and train. On30 Scale Shay and train. Closeup on some track.

Photos of a cabin car that I've had for a long time and only recently glued the metal weight inside into place with super glue. This cabin car came as a kit and I have no idea who imade the kit. The wheels have been exchanged for some NWSL, (North West Short Line) ones I had at the time.

My two 101 class locos. Thinking of running them as a permanently coupled pair. The 2 carriages are GWR ones from ebay and the loco in the background is the Tintagel Castle.
