Added some air vents. Next to come are parts for the bonnet, (hood).

Well I picked up the next issue for the Mustang and the parts for the bonnet, (hood) were really only fit for the recyling they were so badly made. Guides for the hinge were made from plastic that turned out to be somewhat flexible and the holes in bonnet for the bolts to go in to had not been tapped for the bolts, infact in the official build diary it suggested using a 1.4mm tap in the holes first, (if you happen to have one).

So as a result the bonnet will be just sitting on the car with only two closure pins at the front holding it in place.

Added the front end at last. The boot lid is just stting in place for now.

Added the rear panel to the body of the Mustang.

Windscreen has been added. Looks a bit menacing in the second photo, a bit like Christine from Stephen King.

Tried to install the rear window frame and the tabs broke off the frame itself. Now to try and work out how to glue the frame in place.


Finally added the doors to the Mustang and the hinges are awful, (doors just flap around and are not held properly). Also had to push the front and rear windows out so I had something to hang onto while I was fitting the doors. For now the body is back on the chassis minus the front and rear windows which might be put pack in sometime in the distant future. Not finished off the wiring either, which would mean pulling the body off the chassis again!

I have pretty much had enough of it and have declared it to be finished. Just hope the Dodge Charger I want to do, goes together better than the Mustang!
