Look at your order page on Hattons before you do the order.

Makes you think,it's getting later and later, like B'mann's 'Twins'..the never ending story!!...just let's hope the 'dollar' stays relatively strong, otherwise I'll be cancelling a few, but will that favour 'local buying??'.....not from this boy, Aussie sellers are robbing so and sos ,maybe some 'not so bad', I refer to the majority..so the longer an order takes....you get my drift!....Dave

I'm pretty much the same as you, the longer things take to arrive the better.

Let's hope so Anthony, gives us a chance to 'save up', but there are many out there hoping that the dollar 'slides', that's something we don't want!!..imagine if it went down to the likes of 33 British pence??, I've been back to the UK under such circumstances, and it's not good, great for the Poms coming our way!!...Dave

Latest from Hattons, plenty of time to save for it. Also hopefully the $ will be in a better state by then as well.

Rails informed me that my 10001 will be now be November, I wonder just how many have cancelled and gone with the Dapol ones?? these have now been out for ages, methinks it'll just be the 'die hards' who will still wait on regardless of the so called 'set backs' with production in China. I think it would be better for the likes of Hornby and Backmann to not to give 'estimates' on 'expected' dates, they should make their intentions known that this particular loco will be produced and give us the longest time frame, IE, say straight up "it will be 2014" and only letting us know when these locos are actually rolling off the production line and due in the shops.......how would 'real manufactures' of locomotives cope with contracts and orders stating that the loco will be 'on the docks' in 2013 when they really mean 2014, they'd get their backsides sued off them!!, all us poor model railway twats do is go ..'Huh?'..not another friggin delay? ?.....it's about time these things were getting produced where they are planned...... Lastly I'm thinking of the 'old days' when Tri-ang (Tri-ang/Hornby) produced a catalouge, what was in it was available to buy in your local model shop, nowadays you get a photo of a proposed 'new loco' or a computer enhanced model..I rest my case!!...............Dave
