Well done, the fore top is looking good. Total chaos here with the kitchen reno, so can't do any model ship building right now.

:)Hi Steve, I like your Endeavour mate, coming along nicely. I have restarted again myself. You are an inspiration, please keep up your build log here. I am using it to help build my own. I find your photos and comments very useful and motivating. I am hoping to finish this in the next 12months TONY -aka lthump

Thanks Tony and good luck with your health battles. I was able to spend some time on the ship this weekend. I made the two cat blocks, they are pretty big - 9mm. I used some Corel blocks that I bought but I had to spend a lot of time sanding them to get the shape right. I made the hook and band out of a single piece of brass wire, hammered flat for the band part. Attachments:

Gee ,that's looking great. Nice work. There is a lot of scratch building involved with this model.

Last weekend I made the small bower anchor, its slightly smaller than the two main anchors - the sheet and best bower anchors, it a Caldercraft 74mm one but I made the stock myself. Today I spent a couple of hours making the best bower anchor out of brass rod and brass strip, quite a lot of filing to get the shape right. When finished that makes three anchors done - two to go the smaller stream and kedge anchors. Steve

Anchors are looking good. Think I will use the ones that came with the partwork.
