Obviously they didn't do their research very well, or they left it up to the work experience kid to do it. They have the tackle hooked into the ring for the recoil rope

Don't think the current Endeavour even has cannons onboard these days. She does have some small pintle mounted guns, which I think are culverins, but not sure.

Fitted the cleats to the mizzen mast and began fitting the main mast shrouds today

Something I had never thought of adding to the model, even after having been onboard the Endeavour in Sydney several times. Don't think it is included in the partwork either. Well done on adding it.

I can't believe its been five years since I started this build. I'm in no hurry, I just do it when I feel like it, that said I have spent a lot of time so far, too much attention to detail. Attachments:
