Loooks good chriso, you've done a great job for sure. Have a look at 'shipaholics' site, he did a brilliant mod of the same thing. I can't imagine having to use a black marker for the detail though, that trully is pathetic!! Actually, this reminds me of 'The Titanic', when it was around had card parts for the major cabin parts glued onto wood!! The detail was printed on the card for windows, etc etc, it was quite awful with the windows printed in blue with white lines to represent 'reflection' in the glass much like you'd find on a dolls house, I'm sure you've painted a winow in art class at school?! Anyway,I personally 'blacked out each and every one of them using a black 'fine art' black marker, hard and tedious work, but it was still was bloody awful from a major model manufacturer!! I 'aquired' much later on parts 1-60, (40 bucks!!) this allowed me to 'fix' errors on the hull and I gradually replaced all those 'orrible card parts with brass after market projects (at a far greater cost than the actual kit...I might!!) Anyhoo, I fixed the 'error' in the hull framing (at the bow) built up a few 'brass' cabins and work stopped on it on the introduction of the Bismarck!! Part works are good and bad, the Titanic took the biscuit, the Bismarck sort of amended that by being miles better, then Endeavour came along, I'll say no more chriso on that subject, I'm just glad to be rid of it... and annoyed at the same time by not taking up the 'challenge' I wish you (as always) good luck with your 'future' modifications chriso, happy building, enjoy the fruits of you labour!!.......Dave

Hey Chriso, good job on the capstan, nice to see that I am not the only one who thought the one supplied was just crappy. I might put the one supplied together as described but with a couple of things poking out the front and mount it on the quarterdeck as Captain McDalek. I've been busy on other things (new relationship) but managed to spend some time on the transom the other day, I will post something in my diary tomorrow. Steve
