Back at it again. Working on the transom I have to fix this as well. I made some shaping mistakes. Windows are good though. I am almost finished fixing previous misadventures. Pictures when I get it looking right. Great cabin is almost finished. making a bookshelf now after putting in some large vertical beams. Last bit will be the seats inside the windows.

Good to hear and good luck fixing the mistakes. What will the bookshelf be like and will you have some books on it ??

Simple answer is YES. I will make the books today. Thinking of having one open on the table. It's a little later now and I have made the books.... Worked well. Looks like a row of books. I have to paint them and install them in the book shelves. It just adds to what you can see through the windows. It was fun to make something as opposed to repairing stuff ups. I'm doing the rear windows(Transom) and the light hatch(officers cabin) at the same time.Pics as I finish each one

Great to hear. I was just thinking an open chart on the table would be good, or is there not enough room? Also how did you make the books ? Look forward to seeing the photos.

the books were easy if a little fiddly. I chopped up a 3mmx1mm wide strip of plastic card and glued them together in a row.. Looks just like books on a shelf.Plenty of room to put one on the table open.

Never thought of using plastic card to do it.

One thing I've learnt switching to wooden model boats is that you use whatever you can to simulate what is required, regardless of medium. You are limited only by your imagination.I made a lot of the interior , much of which will be hard or impossible to see . However I had fun doing it and learnt more that way about the Endeavor. It cost me nothing except time and patience. On the negative side it slows down your build time, however it's not a race, so doesn't matter.

Bookcase looks great. Using what you have can apply to any model, if you are making a custom version of the model. The important thing about the interior of the Endeavour, is that you will know it is there and that is what matters. Exactly, we don't need to race with building our models, (unlike the vaccine rollout - LoL)!

I will have to glue these leds to the roof of the quarter deck when it's time to lock it down.
